Eliot once asked, why do you love your freedom so much?

Why do we as a species always wish for liberation?

Pondering upon the pupil’s great philosophical endeavors,

I estimated that the will of freedom is something we wish for inherently forever,

Because we want to adopt strategies that would content our higher selves,

To win in the race of contrasting interests- self-interests and interests of others,

To deal with the life’s emergent needs,

We want to gradually shift towards the upper ladder- in a happier position,

For better life conditions,

That’s why we seek liberation,

Liberation from adversity and conflicts,

Liberation from sorrows and desperation,

Liberation from unfulfilled wishes and malignant intentions,

Liberation from sick competitions and unhealthy conversations,

Liberation from the control and backlashes that prevent our inner growth and happiness,

But, then, why do we conform?

Are we the conformists and do not intend to protest?

Be the rebellious?

We are innately ever rebellious, ever the protagonist character in our life stories and histories,

But, we become determinists and conformists only then,

When the structure ensures our growth, better position,

When the social environment enables our prosperity and innovation,

We confirm the rules that take us higher,

Only then do we compromise our freedom,

So, liberation in its complete form is never achieved,

Due to the same reason,

We want stability,

We want security,

Stability and security comes at the expense of untamed liberation.

We compromise our freedom for sanity and safety,

That originates from positive reinforcements of pure social values with a blend of modernistic notions.

The cooperative social experience that upholds consensus and contentment is an immediate and emergent need necessitating an obvious integration.
